Hola Tango Lovers!
As many of you know, last week’s newsletter was Meira’s last.
For a while now, Meira has sent out delightfully designed and professionally executed
newsletters that have kept the Johannesburg milonga floors turning. Personally,
I am very grateful to her for all her hard work. Without the weekly newsletter,
I would have had no idea where to find my next tanda.
Thank you Meira!
Meira has graciously allowed me to continue to use her format
and hopefully I will be able to pull it off. I ask for your patience as I learn
the ropes.
My goal is to get the newsletter out each Monday and I am happy
to include your contributions, information and event details.
In the meantime, I look forward to seeing you on the dance
floor.

Cape Town Tango Ensemble: The one and only Tango Orchestra on
African soil. Traditional Tangos are performed in the style of diSarli,
Canaro, Salgan, Pugliese etc. Tango Nuevo is performed in the style of
Piazzolla, Galliano,
Fiorrio, as well as their own compositions.
Stanislav Angelov's orginal compositions mix traditional Tango with
South African flavour and Jazz. His Tango compositions and arrangements
are often used for film and Television productions in South Africa and
overseas.
The Ensemble also performs for theatre productions with professional
Tango dancers and actors throughout South Africa and Namibia.
